Restaurant Style Chili Chicken With Gravy Recipe/Indo Chinese Recipe 2017

Ingredients:
FOR MARINATION:
500 g chicken
1 egg
3 tbsp cornflour
1 tbsp all purpose flour(optional)
1 tsp black pepper powder
2 tsp soy sauce
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
Refined vegetable oil for deep frying

FOR GRAVY:
1 medium size onion cut into cubes
1 medium size capsicum cut into cubes
2 tsp chopped garlic
1 tsp chopped ginger
2-3 green chilies
2 spring onion stalks
4 tbsp tomato sauce
2 tbsp red chili sauce
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp vinegar
2 pinch MSG(optional)
1 tsp salt
1 tsp red chili powder(optional)
3 tbsp corn flour
250 ml of water
2 tbsp sesame oil or any refined oil

Method:

Method:

Transfer all listed ingredients for marination into the chicken, mix them well.
Keep the chicken for marination for about 30 min.
Heat vegetable oil into a pan on high heat, turn the flame on medium heat, add chicken pieces one by one,Fry them slowly for about 6-7 min or till they turn into nice golden in color, and the chicken gets tender.
Take them off into an absorbent paper.
Heat 2 tbsp sesame oil or any refined oil into an another pan, once oil gets nicely hot add chopped garlic, ginger and green chilies, fry them for 30-35 sec.
Add chopped onions and chopped capsicum, fry them on high heat for 1-2 min.
Add tomato sauce, chili sauce ,soy sauce and vinegar.
Add some salt and red chili powder(optional.)
Add corn flour slurry gradually, mix with another hand simultaneously.
Cook for 2-3 min till the rawness of cornflour goes away.
Add chicken stock and MSG(both optional)
Add chicken pieces, mix well.
Garnish it with green part of spring onion.

Spanish Omelette Recipe – Breakfast Recipe

 

Spanish omelette is just an English name for a traditional Spanish dish called as tortilla española, tortilla de patatas or tortilla de papas. It is an omelet made with eggs and potatoes but sometimes onion or garlic is also used.

It is served as a cold appetizer in Spain and most of the South American countries and is very different from a plain omelet or French omelet.

In Spain, this often served as tapas snacka, cut into small cubes or wedges, speared on cocktail sticks with local alcohol. This perfect picnic meal can also be had hot and for breakfast.

INGREDIENTS:

3 number of Eggs
1 sliced medium sized potatoes
1 sliced medium size onion
Salt to taste
2 tbsp black pepper powder
3tbsp olive oil

INSTRUCTION:

1. Heat 2 Tsp of olive oil in a pan and add the sliced potatoes and onions once it is hot.

2. Toss them till they are slightly brown.

3. Remove the potatoes and onions and keep them aside.

4. Break the eggs in a bowl and whisk them and add salt and pepper to taste.Do not overbeat the eggs.

5. Quickly transfer the egg mixture into the potatoes and onion while they are still hot and mix.

6. Leave this for 5 minutes and you will notice the eggs curdling a bit as they got semi cooked due to the heat of potatoes and onions.

7. Now put the frying pan on heat again and add the rest of the oil.

8. Add the egg, potato and onion mix and let it cook on slow heat for some time, till it is golden brown.

9. Keep a close watch and once it’s cooked from one end, flip it over and let it cook on the other end too.

10. Turn the heat off and let your egg cook inside for few minutes.

11. Cut into wedges and serve hot or cold.

RECIPE NOTE:

1.The frying pan being used should not be too heavy as it will cause problems while flipping the omelet.You can use a non-stick pan if a seasoned cast iron frying pan is not available.

2.Thinly slice the potatoes and dry them immediately to prevent browning.

3.Use extra virgin olive oil if possible to maintain the authentic taste of the Spanish omelet.

4.Move the egg mixture to the potatoes and onions while they are still hot.

5.Curdling of eggs is a good sign that the eggs are ready to be cooked.

6.Wait patiently while the egg is cooking on one side but keep a close watch.

7.Flip the omelet carefully to avoid breaking it.

8.Serve hot or cold with salad or bread.
